In a bid to support food, drink and hospitality businesses during the Coronavirus pandemic, regional food group Food from Fife is offering free membership to any food or drink related business based in Fife until May 2021.

Food from Fife is a not for profit company that was established in 2010 to help the diverse local food and tourism businesses work together to grow the overall industry in Fife. The network has more than 80 members, representing a diverse spread of the industry: from producers of all sizes, large hotels and small B&B’s, colleges, food consultants, caterers, restaurants, pubs and distributors.

Coordinator Martha Bryce said:

“Food from Fife has continued to grow even throughout these difficult times and we know that the group has proved invaluable for our members – providing a channel of critical information, free training and targeted virtual networking opportunities. We’ve also been able to effectively promote our members through our growing social channels, new website and PR. We’re keen to continue this growth and would welcome new members from any aspect of Fife’s food and drink industry.”

Annual membership normally starts at £50 + VAT but fees are on hold until May 2021, giving businesses the opportunity to ‘try before they buy’.

Food from Fife is supported by Fife Council’s Economic Development team and Scotland Food & Drink’s regional food fund, allowing the group to tap into even wider opportunities to support members’ growth.
