MPA Scottish Regional Awards
Caroline Trotter a photographer from Upper Largo in Fife has won two awards in the Master Photographers Association Awards for 2020. Caroline has a wide variety of skills including weddings, family and professional portraits, as well as food photography , she works closely with her food writer husband Christopher on their series of vegetable cook books.
Her two winning images show the extent of her talents and the lengths she will go to for a great photograph. A wild life photograph taken on the historic island of Inchcolm when she was doing a recce for a wedding, captures a gull mid flight as it soars upwards above the island in the firth of Forth. And her portrait of local couple Jessica and Darren Spink who own the Tail End fish and chip shop and restaurant in St Andrews with their new child taken on the west sands.
There were over 1000 entries from 90 photographers and 180 made it to the final.
