Visitors to the East Neuk as well as local residents can now tap into the brand new East Neuk Now website (www.eastneuknow.com) and app, a newly developed digital home for all things “East Neuk”. The latest real-time local news, events and deals, attractions, shopping, food and drink, clubs, schools, visitor services and much more can now all be accessed through the new East Neuk Now digital platforms.
As the Covid lock-down eases and people are once again able to get out and about, it’s imperative that accurate, up-to-date information be easily found and readily available for planning a day visit, an evening out with friends and family, or even a weekend away.
East Neuk Now is the newest and most easily accessible way to find out information about and explore every aspect of the East Neuk of Fife. It’s FREE for both users accessing information, and for those posting details about their businesses, organisations, and events/activities.
The App and Website are fully interactive and allow all users to access live, current information in any number of categories. “Click through” access conveniently takes the user right through to the site they are looking at. Businesses and venues are easily found with a map pin, photos provide colourful highlights of a site, and full details clarify what the business/venue is offering as well as hours of operation and other relevant information.
Funded by Scotland’s Towns Partnership on behalf of the Scottish Government and Fife Council, and managed by Visit East Neuk – the tourism development/support organisation for the East Neuk – East Neuk Now is being promoted on social media sites, with business support provided via prominent signage, window stickers for businesses, and other media. Similar digital information “hubs” show that this user-friendly app soon becomes the go-to-place for all local information and an important gateway to other local media platforms.
