SUNDAY 1ST OCTOBER 2017

Come along and learn about what goes on behind the scenes, share the Ardross journey and sample some delicious products along the way!

Discover the world of farming with Rob and the farm team, as they talk visitors through the traditional farming methods they use; resulting in a healthy herd, flourishing flock, and ensuring only the best quality produce for the shop.

Families can enjoy a fun day out, with a sizzling BBQ, activities, demonstrations and plenty of delicious homemade food to sample; it’s the perfect way for children to learn how their food is produced and where it comes from. With over 50 varieties of fresh flavourful vegetables grown in our fields, learn how the seasonal produce gets from seed-to-field-to-fork. Plus, there’ll be plenty of samples of the delicious Ardross produce baked fresh daily by our Chef Iain!

The RSPB will be making a special appearance, showing visitors how they can care for wildlife by making their own wild bird seed mix and Corn Bunting bunting. Working together with the RSPB has enabled Ardross to increase the population of birds, bees and other wildlife on the farm. The Ardross bees are creating delicious honey; Claire will be donning her Bee suit to demonstrate how the honey is collected and produced!

There is so much to discover at Ardross so come and learn the story behind our homegrown vegetables, freshly baked produce, award winning grass-fed beef and of course our star bees producing beautifully pale honey.

Every farm has a unique story; Ardross welcomes you to come and hear theirs.
