Two well known Fife businesses, Puddledub Pork and Ardross Farm, have teamed up to create a tasty Halloween special.

The sausage combines mildly spiced  pumpkin with and lean pork shoulder, hand linked in natural casing.

Auchtertool-based farmer and Puddledub Pork director Tom Mitchell said that he is always keen to keep things local, and had sourced the pumpkins from the award winning Ardross Farm.

“We wanted to produce something that is seasonal and uniquely local.

 “Some of the best food producers in the UK are here in Fife and we are always keen to partner up with other local suppliers to create new products and flavours.”

There is also a gluten free version available making this sausage perfect for any Halloween party.
