Food Photography Day

A course for those who want to create simple but stunning food photographs using natural light and plain English and will supply lots of tips and ideas to help you take better pictures. 

 

Participants should bring their camera to this hands-on session.  The course will cover the following:

 

Basic camera guidance

Styling and composing a picture and making the best use of natural light

Tips, hints and good examples

Practical learning – have a go at taking images

 

This course will be run by award-winning photographer, Caroline Trotter. A member of the Master Photographers Association, Caroline is well known for her food photography with clients across Scotland ranging from food producers to Michelin-starred restaurants.

 

Social Media & Digital Marketing

Tuesday 16th January, 1.30pm – 5pm, Fairmont St Andrews

Kerry Allison has a background in global marketing having started her career at Brewdog.  During this time she set up, managed and ran all of the Global Accounts for BrewDog.(43 Global Sales accounts – in country; The main “mother pages on twitter, facebook and Instagram, 26 individual bar/retail accounts on twitter/facebook/Instagram; I also designed and managed the e-commerce, web management and development, and all targeted email marketing campaigns).  With educational qualifications in marketing and digital marketing, Kerry is now a Senior Food & Drink Consultant at SAC Consulting and works with Connect Local.

 

 

Prices

Food from Fife members – £40 per person or £65 per person when both Food Photography and social media & Digital Marketing courses are booked.

 

Non-Food from Fife members – £60 per person or £100 per person when both Food Photography and social media & Digital Marketing courses are booked.

 

All prices exclude the cost of lunch at The Fairmont on the day.
