Balgove Larder Night Markets Return for 2025!
As the days grow longer, one of Fife’s most popular food and drink events is set to return – Balgove Larder’s much-loved Night Markets! These vibrant events bring together the best of local food, drink, and craft, creating a fantastic atmosphere for visitors and an excellent platform for producers to showcase their goods.
Taking place once a month from May to September, the Night Markets offer an opportunity to sample and purchase a wide range of local produce, enjoy delicious street food, and soak up live music and entertainment. It’s a celebration of everything that makes Fife’s food and drink scene so special.
Established in partnership with Eden Mill in 2014, the Night Markets were created to highlight the incredible small makers and producers that form the fabric of Scotland’s food and drink industry. Whether it’s grown, reared, stalked, caught, handmade, or prepared, provenance remains at the heart of these events.
Each market is carefully curated and held inside the Steak Barn, where visitors can browse, shop, and sample produce while enjoying live music alongside great menus from local food trucks and Balgove’s own Steak Barn and Eat Out. Throughout the evening, there will also be a mix of in-house and guest demonstrations on how to prepare, cook, and enjoy the best ingredients showcased at the market. Occasionally, visitors can even meet the farmers and see some of the animals and tractors up close!
New for 2025, the Night Markets will feature a Car Boot Sale, offering a selection of preloved and vintage homeware, clothing, and jewellery. Additionally, Strathyrum Flowers will be hosting mini workshops, giving insight into sustainable flower growing, cutting, and arranging, including blooms from Balgove’s own Walled Garden.

Local producers are encouraged to take part and connect directly with customers in a lively, welcoming setting. Whether you’re an established business or a new artisan looking to reach a wider audience, the Night Markets provide a great opportunity to engage with food lovers and fellow producers alike.
