Being among great company in the category for Best Use of Scottish Produce made it all the more of an honour when they scooped the award. It was a pleasure to see some of the fantastic suppliers that Ardross are lucky enough to work with, up for nominations and winning awards, and also to meet potential new artisan producers for the shop. The winners ranged from Arbikie-Kirsty’s Gin, awarded Best Scottish Spirit, to Donnie Montgomery and Raymond Barnett of Boys Eat Scotland named as Most Dedicated Food Blogger.
The evening was an amazing celebration of Scotland’s food and drink scene, with the most celebrated chefs, artisan producers, cafés, farm shops, food writers and establishments in attendance. The night kicked off with some delicious Eden Mill cocktails on arrival, and continued with a fantastic foodie feast with a Street Food themed menu. The Pulled Scotch Brisket with smoky BBQ sauce and the Crispy mac n cheese bites with Scottich chorizo and truffle flavours being particular favourites of the Ardross team.
