The St Andrews Brewing Company has just released another regular beer for its range in the form of “The Wee Blonde”

Bob Phaff’s latest inspiration, which he describes as “brewed with passion to be drunk with passion” comes in a batch of 750 bottles.

He said that it is brewed, bottled and labelled by hand at one time by one bloke – the one bloke being Bob himself.

His tasting notes describe the new beer as maybe a “tad wee” at 3.7%, but punching above its weight when it comes to big, fruity hops.

He said that it is pale straw in colour with a blend of the finest malt and wheat, plus a nice big sackful of four high-alpha hops –  Citra, Simcoe, Summit and Admiral –  to create a light, fresh and fruity Blonde ale.

Wee Blonde is bottle conditioned, best stored and served cool, but not fridge cold.
