Spencerfield Spirit Company’s famous Edinburgh Gin is to be featured on Channel Four’s Sunday Brunch this weekend.

Tune into the popular programme between 10am and 12 noon on October 28 to see delicious cocktails being created from the Fife company’s new range of raspberry infused Edinburgh Gin.

Made from fresh Perthshire raspberries, Edinburgh Gin and a small amount of sugar, the product is a low calorie alternative to a drink such as sloe gin, which contains twice as much sugar.

The recommendation from Spencerfield is to drink the Raspberry Gin as a “Kir Royale” which is a dash of Raspberry Gin topped up with a chilled sparkling wine such as a quality cava is perfect.

“It’s great for parties and celebrations as it’s not as expensive as champagne, and offering a cocktail is a bit more exciting for everyone.

“Last weekend we offered samples to thousands of visitors to the Glasgow SECC winter Food and Drinks Show and they went down a treat”

A member of Food from Fife, Spencerfield Spirit Company also participated in the Food from Fife/Visit St Andrews Seasonal Theatre at the BBC Good Food Show.

A suggested Christmas Martini would be made from:

2oz Edinburgh Gin

1oz Edinburgh Raspberry Gin

2oz cranberry juice

Serve in a chilled martini/cocktail glass – shaken NOT stirred!
