BBC Radio 4’s Food and Farming Awards scheme is on the lookout for nominations for the “Best Local Food Retailer Category” in advance of this year’s judging and awards ceremony.
The award celebrates the local shops that enrich our lives by selling delicious, carefully sourced and affordable food – and Fife has a rich seam of possible winners.
Nominations are being invited from members of the public for their favourite high street butchers, bakers and delis, farm and community shops.
The BBC wants to hear what is great about their food, and the difference they make to your community and local food producers.
The winners will be announced in November and featured on BBC Radio 4’s The Food Programme, You and Yours and Farming Today, as well as on BBC Local Radio.
