The award winning Fairmont St Andrews hotel, spa and golf complex has created two new dining experiences.
Italian eatery La Cucina is in the main building, and Steak & Seafood is at the spectacularly sited clubhouse.
La Cucina offers the charm of a classic trattoria in a relaxed and informal setting, an authentic garden patio and even a retro Vespa scooter.
The menu, created by an Italian chef, focuses on freshly prepared ‘Italian greats’ featuring an extensive selection of antipasti, gourmet pizza and pasta, daily specials, seafood, fish & meats.
The Clubhouse – Steak & Seafood, is using locally sourced Scottish ingredients to create varied seasonal menus.
It offers traditional golfer’s fayre by day and a dinner option by night. The features creel caught lobster from the East Neuk, the finest cuts of Scottish prime Aberdeenshire beef, and daily specials.
The resort has also announced the appointment of Jane McGee as Director of Sales & Marketing.
Jane brings to the resort 20 years of hospitality experience, having worked extensively throughout the UK and Europe.
Having started her career with the Scandic Crowne Hotel in Edinburgh, Jane has since held senior management positions at Holiday Inn, Millennium & Copthorne Hotels, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and most recently as Senior Director of Luxury & Leisure Sales for Melia Hotels International.
