Fife manufacturers, including those with an interest in food, have been given the opportunity to attend a special business breakfast seminar in Glenrothes.

Manufacturing is a key element of the Fife economy, and it is felt that if the UK is to tackle current problems and achieve sustainable growth,
manufacturing will lead the way.

The seminar, which is being supported by Fife Council under the banner of the Fife Economy Partnership, provides an opportunity for businesses to find out about getting goods to market.

It will look at the key issues and opportunities with respect to logistics, how to overcome barriers to exporting, and how to share knowledge with other manufacturing companies in Fife to benefit from their experience.
The event will also highlight the proposal for creating a consolidation site at Rosyth, and will explore opportunities for future UK and international collaboration.

The Goods to Market – Business Seminar is being held on 2nd February at Balbirnie Balbirnie House Hotel, Glenrothes, starting at 8am.
