As the summer months approach, Kingsbarns Distillery near St Andrews is delighted to unveil details of an addition to its tour programme for 2017: the 19th Hole Tour.
The opening hours for the Visitor Centre have been extended between May and September, still opening at 10am, but now closing an hour later at 7pm. The new early evening tour at 530pm has been added to the extensive tour choices to allow visitors even more opportunity to add a distillery tour and whisky tasting into their itineraries.
Scott Robertson, Visitor Centre Development Manager at Kingsbarns Distillery explains further: “We are delighted to be able to offer a new tour this summer. Our Founder was a golf caddie and it was his experience working with golfers that inspired him to raise funds to build this great distillery. While open to all visitors, our new tour will allow golfers in particular more time to enjoy a round at one of Fife’s great golf courses, before retiring to the ultimate 19th Hole.”
The 19 Hole Tour is priced at £22 and includes a Distillery Highlights tour and 3 drams of single malt single cask whiskies. It runs daily at 530pm between May and September. Tours can be pre-booked on the Kingsbarns website www.kingsbarnsdistillery.com or by calling 01333 451300.
