Simply Celebrating Food from Fife!

Research by The Knowledge Bank highlighted a clear demand from both locals and tourists to support local businesses and purchase local produce. However, a common challenge is identifying which products are genuinely local when visiting different outlets.

This year, Food from Fife joined forces with Nicola Stewart of Mint Modern Creative to tackle this issue head-on. Together, and with support from The University of St Andrews, Fife Council, Scotland Food & Drink, and The University of St Andrews Community Fund, they launched an innovative project to increase the visibility of local food and drink offerings.

The fruits of this collaboration were unveiled at our Autumn Networking Event on 8th November at Ardross Farm.

The project introduces a variety of point-of-sale (POS) materials, including eye-catching window stickers, shelf talkers, A4 posters, strut cards & A-board inserts. At the heart of the initiative is a fully branded retail display unit, designed to showcase Food from Fife members’ produce while reinforcing the message to ‘Support Local’.

This initiative is perfect for all types of businesses in the retail, tourism, and hospitality sectors. Whether you’re a farm shop, deli, garden centre, distillery, pub, hotel, restaurant, or tourist attraction, (the list goes on), if you’re supporting Food from Fife members, we’re here to support you!
