The Fife Tourism Partnership’s annual conference will take place at Balbirnie House next month.
Visit Scotland regional director Richard Pinn said that the keynote speaker will be Guy Crawford, who has held a number of senior positions in the tourism sector, most recently as CEO of Jumeirah in Dubai.
Guy and his wife now own La Domaine de la Senche, a guest house and vineyard in the South of France.
He will be talking about how he has utilised local assets throughout his career to provide unique customer experiences.
The conference will also feature presentations from:
- The Budget Traveller, Kash Bhattacharya, who will discuss how social media channels can be used to promote your business to a worldwide audience.
- Local entrepreneur Caroline Miller, owner of The Hideaway Experience and co founder of Go Rural will highlight how she has used innovative promotions and market segmentation to generate business.
There will also be a series of interactive workshops designed to give you ideas to take away for your own business, as well as a great region and sector wide networking opportunity.
Mr Pinn said that the partnership expects high demand for this even,t as the 2012 event sold out. Spaces will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
The event will take place on Thursday February 28, from 9.15am – 1.15pm.
