Two Fife bakeries are still in the running for the crown of Scottish Baker of the Year 2013.
They are William Stephen (Bakers), Dunfermline, and S M Bayne & Co of Lochore, which are each contesting three categories after being nominated by customers.
There are six categories: breads, scones, individual cakes, savouries, morning rolls and new category biscuits.
Each category has been split into three regions – northern, central and southern – with a gold, silver and bronze being awarded in each.
Regional winners are put for a national award, and the results will be announced at a ceremony in May.
Artisan baker and TV presenter Paul Hollywood will present the awards during the Scottish Bakers 122nd Annual Conference, which will take place from 17th-19th May 2013 at the Crowne Plaza Glasgow Hotel
The current holder of the national title is Harry Gow, of Inverness.
