A popular Fife family business producing a range of homemade products has marked its first anniversary by opening new premises in Kirkcaldy this week.
The opening of Cochrane’s Kitchen at West Bridge Mill coincides with the end of the first year of an energetic and thriving enterprise which works with locally sourced, fresh ingredients to make jams, jellies, hand cut marmalades, chutneys and relishes.
There is also a new Vintage Tea Room, which will play host to “Knit and Knatter” groups, craft workshops, networking evenings, art and photography exhibitions, and activity aimed at bringing the community together.
Owner Jackie Cochrane said that at an official opening ceremony had just been held, and invited guests included business owners and representatives of Food from Fife and Catch 21.
