The St Andrews Brewing Company has just started producing some of its beers in casks as a result of a deal with a well known pub.

Owner Bob Phaff has joined forces with the Central Bar in St Andrews, the only pub he will be supplying with casks on an exclusive basis.

A member of “Food from Fife”, Bob said that the Central with be the only place to have his beer on tap regularly.

“They will have my beers on one of their four guest ale hand pumps continually.

“The beers will keep changing and at the moment they have Fife Gold, Crail Ale, IPA, Neuk Ale and new guest 54.46..Citra.”

So far Bob has concentrated bottle conditioned ales, which are hand made, hand bottle and hand labelled. He uses only top quality UK malt and whole hops.

He has built up an extensive range of seven regular ales, and special limited production guest ales.
