The popular Cairnie Fruit Farm Mega Maze is now open, and in the year when the Ryder Cup comes to Gleneagles the theme is golf.

This year’s design depicts a golfer in full swing, and the maze is growing at the average rate of an inch a day!

Sown in maize, the spectacular attraction will reach a height in excess of eight feet, and it is already halfway there.

The artistically designed labyrinth of pathways and blind alleys extends over six acres.

Like all maize mazes the Cairnie Mega Maze will only have a short life before being harvested in October and fed to the cattle.

A Mega Maze ticket holder includes unlimited use of the Funyard which is packed with activities. Highlights include the go-cart track and the giant straw bale climbing fortress.

There are also trampolines, a massive sand box, swings, slides, a “young farmers yard” with ride on pedal tractors, loaders & trailers, an XL bouncing pillow, 30m flying fox and the 4wd ATV Barrel Bug ride.
