Two Food from Fife members are taking part in a special event at the Scottish Parliament today.

The Eden Brewery, and St Andrews Farmhouse Cheese Company, will be part of a “Buy Local, Eat Scottish”  farmers’ market style session in the members’ restaurant.

The event has been sponsored by MSP Nigel Don, and it will run between 10am and 2.30pm.

The market will feature products from different regions of Scotland, from sea to mountain, offering samples of unique produce from local businesses.

These will include Aberdeenshire porridge, smokies from Arbroath, cheese and beer from Fife and a hog roast from the Borders.

Eden Brewery’s Paul Miller said that the market will give businesses the opportunity to meet ministers, MSPs and parliament staff.
