Rufflets St Andrews is delighted to announce the appointment of David Lilley as Sous Chef, joining the existing Brigade led by David Kinnes.

David (and we refer to him as Young David), lives in Crail with his wife, and before coming to Rufflets had been working with the team at the Peat Inn. This is all added to his vast experience of restaurants and hotels in Scotland, especially at Raemoir House Hotel.

There are some exciting changes being planned with the restaurant at the hotel – and more news will come soon, but Young David is working on some new, vibrant menus, making even more of the fabulous local produce that comes from Fife’s superb larder.

We do not rest on our laurels, and continue to develop the offering throughout the hotel, and Rufflets’ many accolades include AA Scottish Hotel of the Year 2015/2016, 4 AA Red Stars, 2 AA Rosettes, 4 VisitScotland Gold Starts and Taste our Best.

Afternoon Tea remains one of the favourite services at the hotel, with the chance to sit by one of the fires, relax and enjoy the traditional experience.

Original, Vegetarian and Gluten free Afternoon Tea are priced at £21.00.  Sparkling Afternoon Tea is £27.25, Champagne Afternoon Tea is £32.00 and Children's Afternoon Tea is £11.00.
