Sirloin Steak with a Red Onion and Radish Chutney

Sirloin Steak with a Red Onion and Radish Chutney from Easie Manson

 


Method

Sirloin Steak Method:

Trim off any excess fat on the steak. Place in a shallow dish with the garlic and oil.Heat a non-stick frying pan and add the lamb, skin side down.Sear the beef  and cook for about 2 mins on each side. When cooked allow to rest in the residual heat in the pan.

 

Red Onion and Radish Chutney  Method:

Sear the radishes in the oil to get a bit of colour, add all the other ingredients.Place a lid on the pot and allow to cook for 8-10 mins or until the vegetables are soft.Season then serve.

 

 

Ingredients

Sirloin Steak

2 pieces Sirloin (approx 200gms)
1 clv Garlic, crushed
2 tbsp Olive Oil

 

Red Onion and Radish Chutney

75gms Radishes, sliced
2tbsp Olive Oil
1 tbsp Honey
1 tbsp Brown Sugar
2 tbsp White Wine Vinegar
1 Small Red Onion, sliced
2 clv Garlic
